CONNECTION PROBLEM HELP ASAP? - speed of local area conection

Ok U know when u go into Task Manager and go to the Network tab and displays the characteristics of ur connection .... mine is a LAN connection at a speed of 100 Mbps and the maximum that the constant use of the network never 1% in other words, the maximum speed that once 1Mbps.
So I asked myself whether there is a way to improve this, so with my internet surfing and faster loading time ..... PLEASE HELP
