Can a throat infection become an ear infection? - throat infection more condition_symptoms

Your child's doctor has already diagnosed several times with a sore throat, and again a half weeks later and was an ear infection. Is this a widespread phenomenon or a bad doctor?

Yes, it can in children.
It is because of the anatomy of the ear. The middle ear (depending on the anatomical point of view, we have the outer ear, middle ear and inner ear) in the pharynx (throat) by a tube. Thus the essential balance of pressure remains in the middle ear in case of change of altitude. (It may be that excited feeling to go during a trip to the mountains and how they try to swallow in the air or drink).
Because of this connection, a sore throat can get into the middle ear and causes of the problem.
Hope this helps.
